I had originally thought to turn it into a "micro bass VI."

I've tried a few different heavy gauge strings, and tunings, but couldn't find ANY kind of lowish tuning that'll hold. It always goes wonky after a prolonged thrashing.

I've tried other tuners, it's not the machine heads.

It's not a bass. It takes up space.
