@Zerglingman @mischievoustomato they forked a bitrotten version of signal right before they refactored it to be non shit, replaced the cryptography with an inferior version for no GOOD reason, there was a reason it was just an inexcusably lazy one. the project is run by midwits who want their high pay low effort government subsidized jobs writing insecure software for activists.
