both pro-palestine and pro-israel people in Western nations are apparently terrified of the possibility of violence against them, but only one of those two groups is subject to state repression in the current moment? no Western country has banned pro-israeli sentiment or protests, but they have done so for pro-palestine sentiment and protests.

the whole thing seems to be a giant infowar over who gets to be seen as The Victim, which is fucking farcical when one side literally builds advanced weapon systems for half the world and the other side can't even keep the water running without permission from their enemy (who says no).
