@julieofthespirits @QueerSatanic I was psychologically and to some degree physically abused by my mother, and she only had so much access to me because we homeschooled, but all the same, I'm extremely grateful I was homeschooled. I would not have the awesome (imo) talents and hobbies I do if I hadn't been, and moreover, I don't think I would've had the ability to deal with the whole school...thing as opposed to autodidactic self study based on common core and college entrance requirements and such. That's just the way my neurodivergence is wired
