US Sec of State Blinken deleted a tweet where he called for a cease-fire – the 2nd such instance in the past several days when officials deleted tweets encouraging #Israeli restraint.
This follows a similar incident w the State Dept's Off. of #Palestinian Affairs, which originally said it "unequivocally condemned the attack of #Hamas terrorists and the loss of life that has incurred. We urge all sides to refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks. Terror and violence solve nothing."
