Experimenting with animating the fractal family that appears in my profile header. Thought folks here might appreciate it.

It’s a density fractal, meaning that an image (i.e. each frame of animation) answers the following question: “Applying a random process to a point in space, how frequently does the point end up in a given grid cell?” The animation shows parameters varying over time.

Next frontiers: color scheme experiments, image sharpening, different paths through parameter space.
