@PacificNic the worst part about the pandemic for me was getting COVID despite masking, vaccinating, not going to events with people, etc, and my uni putting me in solitary confinement for 13 days in a tiny little room with a built in bathroom, where I wasn't allowed to set foot past the door frame on pain of being expelled. I had to completely depend on them for meals, which turned out to be bad when they forgot to bring me one of the two daily meals we got a few times and I just had to go hungry. Also, when my estrogen and nortryptaline (a nerve pain / anti-migraine medication that also functions as an antidepressant at stronger doses, the withdrawal symptoms of which are awful) ran out, it turned out they had no means of getting those medications to me, so I had to go without my meds for a few days while I desperately called friends and classmates to see who could pick them up for me.
Still better than getting long COVID.
