It takes very little time out of your day and it doesn't oblige you to do anything - apart from jury duty, which indeed is annoying, especially when it happens during lockdown season and those faggots wnat you to wear a mask.
Not voting also doesn't oblige you to do anything. All of the common sayings about voting are obviously false, mendacious propaganda:
1. if you don't vote you can't complain because you failed in your duty to participate
2. if you voted you can't complain because you participated
3. if you voted for the guy that won you can't complain
4. the guy that wins has a mandate
Voting has very little importance but it also has very little cost so you should do it. The one big danger with voting is that it *feels* good, it's a pressure-release valve for tyrannies. But you can just be aware of that.
