I grew up in other countries, and so am painfully aware of how indoctrinated we Americans are, and how unaware most Americans are of this.

Example: male peasants in 13th century England worked around 150 days a year. The propaganda says we are the freest in history, but how free are we if medieval peasants had more leisure time than we do?
