The "normal" dating scene has people seeing each other as "hot" or "sexy" so when you tell a girl she's "cute" or "pretty" and that you'd like to see her in a nice dress instead of a skimpy outfit, it catches them completely off-guard. Chances are the average girl never experiences that once in their life.
