We are now *years* into vaccine escape.

This isn't 2021, and the variants of covid that are circulating are mostly not the same.

They *were* effective. But that effectiveness drops every month that we allow millions of people to get covid. We *shouldn't* need to update the boosters, but thanks to those who have been out getting and spreading covid, we do.

We should be thankful that covid doesn't mutate *more* rapidly
