Apparently I missed some cascading bullshit, but speaking only for myself:

I have been extremely happy with my experience on Treehouse and indeed, I find the community actually has a mild moderating influence on the anger levels of my posts there.

Nothing is perfect, and the internet is foundationally not a "safe space" because there really are no such places in a fascist society like ours.

But I'd happily say "join Treehouse" to anyone looking for good moderation w/o Glee Club shit.
