    Some activist anthropologists went to Africa and found a tribe. Then they made a deal with the elders to push a completely fake narrative about aliens from Sirius B coming down and teaching them things. On top of that, they created a lie that the tribe came from Egypt and were inheritors of the ancient Mysteries of the pharaohs.

    It was all a hoax.
