the pleroma mod originally didnt use libopenmpt, it used some pure js implementation that could only handle .mod and .xm files.
i only libopenmpt with chiptune2.js later to the mod.

when i spun up mkab (as misskey) i implemented it for misskey, but didnt push it to upstream, because during that time, misskey didnt accept PRs iirc.

but then the forking began and mkab migrated to foundkey. thats when it got merged into foundkey.

its awesome to see, when some little dumb thing i made is getting adapted by others
