went to some sports games with the family and learned that this crap forces you to use apple or google wallet for tickets because paper tickets are somehow problematic in these shitty times. we had to dedicate a specific phone to not be de-googled in order to do this. Apparently screenshots are also no bueno.

holding the phone under the scanner to read the QR code was a pain in the butt and not working, so i had to interact with the guy as much or even more so than i would have if he just tore the stubs off of our paper tickets.
