It is just that app. Not the instance.
With Toots! It works, but I cannot scroll back in the TL in that app while answering, as in FediLab. Every app has its pros and cons.

As far as I'm concerned, the quote feature for the Mastodon platform has been delayed. Other Fedi platforms have been supporting it.

As for moving instances: only when all posts can be moved, too (or Elmo buys mine ;).)
I still hurt for my 25k tweets, a lot of research went into many.
