But don't worry, mandates and lockdowns will return the next time they need to do another mass rollout of pharma profits, since it worked so well last time.

I'm curious though, have you spent any time trying to understand how to treat people for long covid? Establishment medicine is outright nihilistic on the prospect, because the health system was terrible before this even started. It exists to put wagies back in cagies, but nothing more. If you're seriously concerned about mitigating the impact SARS-COV-2 (and many other health threats) have on people, you're going to have to go outside conventional means.
