Nonetheless, we live in a time where nearly everything consequential the government does is kept secret from us and the government knows all of our private business. The 4th amendment has become a joke. And sadly large segments of the population have grown used to it. Partly, this is because everyone alive today has had to report all their business to the IRS every year. The very idea of this is not compatible with a free society.
