    backup your accounts
    Backup your files
    Back up your OS itself
    Backup your firmware
    Physically disassemble the device to enable read/write to the firmware
    Create an installer for the custom firmware
    Liveboot to install that firmware
    And past that install the regular operating system using the new UEFI interface.

    It will likely take you a day or two.
