- Embed this notice@Mondobizarrro @lilli @mazel u/acc (unconditional accelerationism) is kind of the overarching framework on accelerationism and is in a very loose sense a way of thinking about capital as it expands into the future. from there you have l/acc and r/acc who basically ask "what does this mean for the left/right" and various other accs that essentially build on u/acc. i recommend xenogothic's u/acc primer which links to a ton of other stuff if you are theorycel-inclined. my familiarity with this stuff is extremely limited so take everything i say with a grain of salt.
e/acc (effective accelerationism) has nothing to do with any of this and is instead an offshoot of ea (effective altruism) which is basically a bunch of rationalist tech bro guys (some with a lot of money, some without) being like we should do altruism more efficiently by giving shit to people in developing countries. e/acc in its founding post is basically like dude we gotta make more consciousness we gotta accelerate technocapital and ai development. their whole shtick is basically trolling ai safety guys and beyond that they're pretty much your average liberal transhumanist. i tried to be as objective as possible here but i really hate these motherfuckers lol
