There wasn't really, but the record store *was* open, so that means it's time for #indigoswax
Today I got very lucky, and managed to find exactly one of albums I was hoping to find, and that was this original pressing of Brian Eno's 1974 Masterpiece: Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy).
Brian Eno I feel needs no introduction, but for the sake of formality he was a musician specializing in synth and experimental/art rock who started his music career in the early 70's as a member of Roxy Music (which happens to be one of my favorite bands), and went onto have a very prolific career both as a solo musician and as a producer and collaborator, most famously with David Bowie during his "Berlin," era from 1977-78, as well as with U2, Cluster, Robert Fripp, and many many more.
This was his second album as a solo act, and it's largely a stylistic continuation of "Here Come the Warm Jets," another classic.
It's great, nothing more to say.
My favorite track is probobly "The True Wheel," but the whole albums one big highlight, it's an all killer, no filler affair, and I'm very happy to have a vinyl copy in such good condition.
