I am correcting you. They took so much from the TTRPG that to even suggest they weren’t aping it is, ah, how did you phrase it? “Objectively wrong”? Yeah. They started from the TTRPG and then made various concessions along the way, as they always do. I said they attempted a 1:1 copy, not that they succeeded.
