Criticism of McConnell is fair.

Mocking his disability is out of line.

The harm I’m describing is not hypothetical and not “assumptions.” I’m speaking from position of relative safety on behalf of specific people whose lives were touched by brain trauma, and whom I know to be greatly upset by mockery that is meant to be directed at McConnell, but unintentionally hits them where it hurts instead.
