Josh SusserI hate how stupid American news is about reporting gun violence incidents. I know we should not look away, and we can't afford to accept mass shooings or active shooter situations as normal. But shutting down all the news to focus on something as a special event when that thing happens almost every day seems ridiculous. Hours of breaking news and special coverage that is 99% waiting for any news at all is useless.
