In a super "I-hate-what-tech-has become-and-that-I-am 'in tech'-as-it-continues-like-this" mood, how are you?

Some people will point out that tech was always like this in some form or fashion and I can't really argue against that with my full chest but I will say that the scale and scope of the harm that tech could do was significantly smaller 20 years ago. I assumed, I think reasonably, that people would prioritize controlling the damage that tech could and does enable.

I was incorrect.
