@Mondobizarrro FreeBSD imo, since it's probably the most active & user-friendly of the three. I use it for desktop and it's been solid for most things (major exceptions being gaming & fast wifi). I've used NetBSD and I think it's generally more capable for embedded devices. Haven't used Open or Dragonfly before but I think they're probably best for servers
