John-Mark Gurney@feld are you saying that thunderbolt spec requires accurate markings on the cable? I'm seeing cables w/ markings, but they don't look standardize/mandatory. They look like some engineer decided hey, lets put the version number on it, picked a random font, and put a 3 or a 4 on the cable.
