@georgetakei We were never taught about this in school. The day I learned about it, I was shocked and horrified. I couldn’t imagine that my country, the USA, would create concentration camps. No, that’s not what they called them, but it doesn’t change what they were. We have a long history of persecuting and oppressing peoples, starting with the 500 Nations of indigenous people that were virtually wiped from this earth when the invaders came. I am so sorry for what happened to you and yours. There’s nothing I can say other than I’m ashamed of what our country did to its own citizens. It is up to each one of us to ensure that the hate stops with our #vote. 🤦♂️
