- Embed this notice@adiz I haven't read it but the guy who originally created Urbit, before that, had an blog of reactionary thought that for a while was pretty influential with American far right (not everyone, many hate him because he's part-Jewish.) You can even make some connection between his beliefs and the architecture of the project. But it's not more centralized than most other software project based around identity so it's kind of a red herring. He has divested of his control and ownership of Urbit and the project at every level is populated with sometimes eccentric but not too crazy of people.
I enjoy playing with it as a hobby. But I went to one of their conventions when it was here in Florida and I met a ton of interesting people and it made me even more enthusiastic.
