don't get me wrong—nyx is a (rapidly spoiling, seeing as none of you have offered to buy her) piece of food merchandise to me and nothing more. but NEVERTHELESS, whenever she is both upset and impossible to contact, i do think i am entitled to a (mild! very mild!) morphine drip. to compensate
