The most terrifying thing is that none of us can tell for certain what the hell is real anymore...

We have no way to know what is a hoax, a psyop, exaggerated, downplayed, or completely legit.

And this isn't even factoring in the Mandela Effect and ridiculous shit like "Dazzle Ships".

Some lady was going through Google Books looking for things and kept finding old books with their text replaced with the text of a book on "Black Loch fishing". Could have been a bug on Google's part or maybe some rogue AI doing who knows what...

And that's just one example that was obvious... What about the stuff we never notice until it's too late?
