undead enby of the apocalypseI really dislike the idea that wanting people to wear masks is somehow going against individualism. People not wearing masks are violating the bodily autonomy of those around them by increasing the risk of infecting them with covid needlessly. The anti masker kind of individualism is a neoliberal “fuck you got mine” kind of individualism. A “I don’t care about other people, I want to do what I want” kind of individualism. That’s not individualism, that’s authoritarianism.
