@cryborg I do think just being normal to kids is important. Treating them like they deserve to be ignored and erased can be harmful to their development. Theyre gonna grow up to be adults who will remember in core memories who was nice to them and encouraged them.

I think we should still question people who are being creepy to kids, obviously, but the paranoia around this to the extent that you can't even wave back at a kid who is waving to you is kinda r worded
