First, I think that Mastodon is a great project.

During the website renewal of joinmastodon, I noticed the sponsors of Mastodon.

Sure, having sponsors doesn't mean that they're influencing the software, but I wonder why so many companies, which are ethically questionable, donate their money to Mastodon?

Sponsors are: sex toy companies, online casino sites, buy instagram followers (?) and essay writing companies (ghost writing).
