The thing I absolutely love about the #gemini protocol is that it's up to the client to decide how to display content, not the server.

Give me the data and let me figure out what I want to do with it. This is very opposite to the "modern web" which too frequently wants the server to control as much of the user/client experience as possible. This is continues to be true with Google adding "Web environment integrity" to Chrome.
