These are words in the English language and they have meaning, and if they made up a term, it would probably be an ideology, and I would be against it. Software can't be free software if it's not free, if it does not respect the user's freedom, including the freedom to not be spied on. Anything else is a corruption of language. Saying that free software doesn't have to be free is an inversion of reality.
