@nach @moffintosh @ResidentEvil @newt the consolidation of unions in north america also sucks, I know people that have to deal with this and I'm told that effectively the union apparatus is so large that now it's just a jobs program for its workers not even its members. I'm not really against unions as people are free to enter any type of bargaining agreement. it seems like they have to be

1. independent
2. big but not too big
