    I'm afraid that Metatext is unlikely to be updated or fixed in the near future, as the lead developer had to take a break for health reasons.

    There is a community version being created called #FediText but it's not ready yet.

    If there are issues with Ice Cubes it might be best to address the developer directly? They've just returned from parental leave and I think they are now updating Ice Cubes again.
