Yeah, when you are ugly it happens a lot. A friend arranges a date, but when you meet she sees what you look like and does everything she can to make the date as unpleasant as possible. I used to just sit there taking it and trying to make small talk until the meal ended, but it just isn't worth it when doing so will cause you to spend the rest of the night alone in your room sneeding over all the barrage of insults you had to endure all night. Better just to cut out as quickly as possible and spare yourself the unpleasantness.
