- Embed this notice@Zealist I’m still new to most things. We have to make most crops boom and bust due to location. Large harvest and put back. Dehydration and canning have been our focus as this is really only our second year. I struggled last year late to the start, I mapped and moved while my husband built extensive areas. We are working on making the surround produce more from local varieties and putting back seeds now that they have been through our weather. Struggles happen every year, mostly pest and heat related, last year I got a total of four individual green beans, this year I got 24 pints. It’s always fun.
