@TerminalAutism @Misato I too got to the point of wanting to just make all my software by myself.
It's a slow process, but definitely rewarding.
In theory you can even make your own LibreOffice (at least the document writer one) using groff (or troff if you're on non-GNU systems).
The downside of groff is that it doesn't understand non-Latin characters, which is a gigantic loss for me who's native language is not one that uses Latin characters by default.
