The biggest problem in the movement to save Israeli democracy is that they might succeed. Israel is absolutely dependent of being perceived as a democracy, is has a lot to do with market stabilization, western investments and US aid. Any such success from this movement would undermine severely the resistance to apartheid. We should not see ourselves as working within the Israeli society for its improvement, any participation, including the "anti-occupation bloc" is a tactical mistake which would hurt us in the long run. The strategic thing to do is to find the internal social divides already in existent within the settler society and look for ways to expand them. Let this racist hellhole boil within its own contradictions. No reforming apartheid
