@AnarchoNinaWrites I’m just sort of inclined to think that any law, then and now, is twisted to suit the interests of those with the most power. I absolutely believe that if the other branches of government wanted to charge the president with whatever crime, they’d find a way to do so, regardless of what twisted and contradictory legal justifications they had to find for it.
Which is exactly why, as you say, depending on "but it's sedition” is futile. Law is an instrument of class power.
