A few minutes of #Threads reminds me of what any mainstream text-based app will be: full of pols and journalists and thinkfluencers and “comedians” and others all trying their hardest to get attention and mindshare for at lest 30 seconds till the next shitpost.

You can’t build community on these apps because they’re not designed for community. They’re meant to keep people looking and clicking like automatons.

It’s better here.
