The idea that the logical methods of the scholastics just popped out of nowhere once christianity showed up is retarded, that's not how humans work. If it were then all those 19th century missions into africa would have worked and it'd be a civilised continent now.
Christianity didn't cause europeans to be logical and embrace deductive reasoning, europeans were already doing that and would have continued to do that no matter what. If anything it's the other way around: European influence caused a fundamentally jewish movement to develop more of a focus on truth and logic.
jews do not typically hold either truth or logic in particularly high regard, those are antithetical to a narcissistic fantasy world. Christianity as a religion would have likely turned out very very differently if it had not been for the influence of groups such as the neoplatonists.
