For example, there are lots of fish which switch from male to female and vice-versa if they do not find a suitable mate to reproduce. Hence, it's disingenuous to use these as successful examples of same-sex relationships in Nature, because unlike humans or any other animals, these species don't require significant medical interventions to produce progeny.
