White Nationalists and Neo Nazis are demonstrating in the US again

I think this was inevitable as soon as the cultural conversation shifted from "We have a racism problem and need to fix it" to "All white people are racist all the time".

I guess no one considered that the constant drumbeat of "white men used to have ALL the social power" would cause some of them to shift from feeling ashamed to feeling like they have something to aspire to.

I wonder how many of them started out as well-meaning liberals only to get called a "nazi" for committing a microaggression or misgendering on Facebook back in the 2010s.

Obviously not defending them, but it's not hard to see why that kind of fanaticism is more popular now than it was 20 years ago.
