@thirzah@mastodon.social I've seen organizations where women were put on the board for representation, but their perspectives were not asked. And on the rare instance their perspectives were asked, nothing actionable was done.

And more than once, I've seen women on the board essentially sidelined from the decision-making process while the old boys club made the actual decisions.
