im just saying that etzel isnt originally from high german and so i assume the nibelungenlied is loaned from western germans(franks) not all franks are marovingii or clovises tribes, theyre were many constitutents from denmark to middle germany some of which had been invaded by caesar some of which had established cities in in roman germania.
