@Zealist @greenpx We have a pretty impressive breeder system though, everyone in the family uses us for hatching. It’s a waste not to hatch them when we have a bunch of these funky breeds. I like it as a hobby to keep her busy at home, and she gets a chunk of pocket money out of it. Hatching about…12-30 every other month or so, mostly naturally. One of the ranging hens just comes back one day with a dozen chicks in tow.

She got some funky show breeds that were pretty expensive, so it seems like a waste to look down and realize my breakfast could have been converted to $35 cash. She’s been begging to import those longtail jap phoenixes next but I’m kinda…..at my wit’s end with the number we got running around right now
